Split System Air Conditioners
Beat the heat this summer in your home or office with a new split air system conditioner. If you want to enjoy total temperature control without the high electricity bills, a split system air conditioning unit could be the best option.
What are the advantages of using split system air conditioning?
These efficient heating and cooling systems operate in a split configuration, whether you need to heat or cool a single room or multiple rooms in your home or office, making a split system split unit from Maxim Air the most trusted choice in Sydney for comprehensive home heating and cooling, whole-home comfort, and custom solutions.
We have more than 15 years of experience working with all types of cooling and heating systems for dynamic home design, individual controls, and zone settings, offering the highest tier of service at competitive prices in North Shore and Campbelltown, Wetherill Park, and across Sydney NSW and Greater Sydney.
Benefits of split system air conditioning include:
Rapid cooling
Heating systems with high cooling capacity, filter capabilities with electronic timers and remote control operation make them convenient to use.
Energy heating
Air-to-air heat pump technology warm ambient air quickly to maintain consistent ambient temperature. All the split systems we install meet or exceed the Australian Minimum Energy Performance Standard (MEPS).
Saving money
As well as avoiding high running costs for electricity bills, split units are also far cheaper to install than ducted systems as they require less ductwork built into your home.
Less invasive
The outdoor units of split systems are designed to be as compact as possible, so you won't have to overhaul major parts of your house to install them. Interior units are wall-mounted to save floor space and stay out of sight.
Cleaner air
Most systems also purify the air as they cool it, removing dust and allergens in your home, adding extra value to indoor air quality (IAQ).
Easy to maintain
Once the system has been installed, it's easy to clean the filters and keep it in good working order. You can contact us for full servicing and maintenance if anything ever goes wrong.
How do split systems work?
Split system air conditioning systems consist of two main components: an outdoor condenser unit, which houses the compressor, and an indoor unit, which may be wall-mounted, floor-standing, or ceiling-suspended inside the room where cool air is needed.
Like other air conditioners, split system reverse cycle cooling operates the exact same way as traditional AC units, absorbing ambient heat through the interior unit and evaporating it into refrigerant liquid, which is then pumped outside to cool the room. In reverse cycle mode, heat is drawn from outdoor ambient space to warm up interior spaces efficiently.
